Our Purpose
The Lynwood Teachers Association believes our schools and students are worth fighting for. That belief has guided our union since it was established in 1966 out of the trunk of the founder’s car. Today, we’re still just as dedicated in the fight for equal access, justice and resources for all of Lynwood’s students, educators and classrooms.

Our members include teachers, counselors, psychologists, Education Support Professionals and other non-supervisory certificated personnel in our public schools.
