Dear Lynwood Teachers,
Welcome to another exciting school year! I am absolutely thrilled to serve as your LTA President for the 25-26 school year. I am excited to work alongside a dedicated and knowledgeable Executive Board and Leadership Team. Your passion, commitment, and expertise are the cornerstone of our students' success and the positive culture of our community, and we deeply appreciate the incredible work you do every single day.
As we embark on this new academic journey, we are filled with optimism for the learning and growth that will undoubtedly take place within your classrooms. We acknowledge there are challenges at the local and national levels, and we are committed to working together to overcome them and ensure our students receive the best possible education.
This year, I am particularly excited about working collaboratively with our District Leaders to continue to make improvements for our students. As we navigate upcoming changes, it is paramount that we ensure quality professional development, resources, and supports are in place for your success.

Our Purpose
The Lynwood Teachers Association believes our schools and students are worth fighting for. That belief has guided our union since it was established in 1966 out of the trunk of the founder’s car. Today, we’re still just as dedicated in the fight for equal access, justice and resources for all of Lynwood’s students, educators and classrooms.
Who We Are
Together LTA has worked to improve the conditions of teaching and learning in Lynwood. Our members include teachers, counselors, psychologists, Education Support Professionals and other non-supervisory certificated personnel in our public schools. We are committed to improving the working conditions of teachers and emphasizing the importance of a decent learning environment for students. We are Stronger Together! We are LTA!
