Tips on How Parents Can Support Teachers During Negotiations

Throughout the bargaining process, support from the Lynwood community has been strong. Parents, classified staff, and other community members have shown support by participating in informational pickets held at school sites and the District, and by attending Board Meetings and addressing Board Members and the public. Please read below for additional ways parents and community members can continue to support Lynwood teachers:
  • Email or speak to Superintendent Crosthwaite and LUSD Board Members about the importance of a fair salary, Health and Welfare benefits, and working conditions for LTA members.
  • Communicate with other Lynwood community members about the importance of attending LUSD Board Meetings and voicing your concerns about bargaining issues.
  • Continue to attend Board Meetings and participate in informational pickets with LTA members.
  • Join teachers before and after school at school sites for informational pickets.
  • Stay informed by signing up for LTA’s Parent and Community Updates by sending an email to [email protected].
Thank you for your continued support of Lynwood teachers!
Stronger Together,
